Who is Pagan Pride Day for?
Pagan Pride Day is for the general public, whether Pagan or non-Pagan. The purpose of our event is to challenge tolerance through education and information. The best way to do this is by our own example, demonstrating what are the truths of our beliefs to those who come to learn from us.
Is there an admission fee to this event?
Pagan Pride Day is free and open to the public, we only ask that you bring a non-perishable donation to be left at the information booth. We celebrate Pagan Pride during our Harvest season, and this is a way for us to show gratitude for the gifts we have in our lives. Especially in this economy, when all of us are tightening our belts, charitable organizations that serve those in need are some of the hardest hit. And while we have all felt the crunch of these times, many of us still do have something to be thankful for and something to give out of that gratitude.
Donations sound great, but where will these offerings go?
NH Pagan Pride has again chosen as our charitable recipients, The NH Food Bank and The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. Please remember them when you come out to stand for Pagan Pride.
How can I help?
We are most in need now of networkers willing to “shout out loud” for us about the September event. Stay tuned to this site for website banners that will be posted to add to your own site, and for flyers you can download to leave at your local Magickal gathering places. We are also looking for volunteers for the day of the event. This is especially great for those new to the community…an hour at the Welcome table will connect you to lots of new Pagan friends! And, as always, NH Pagan Pride will accept monetary donations if you just cannot spare time in these busy days. We have a Paypal account linked through our email address at: snhpaganpride@yahoo.com .
