Also, NH Pagan Pride will be on PaganFM! Radio!! The Saturday night, August 29 broadcast of PaganFM! will feature an interview about NH Pagan Pride! PaganFM! is broadcast live from WSCA Community Radio in Portsmouth, NH on Saturday evenings from 10pm to Midnight. Tune in to Dee and Darla…it’s a fabulous show! And don’t forget to catch Dee at Pagan Pride! You can listen live to the streaming broadcast from the Station’s website, or you can download the recorded mp3 file after the show (usually from about late Sunday afternoon on) at the show’s website, on Podcast Alley, or through iTunes…just search for PaganFM!

That’s right, we will have food for purchase at the event. The YRUU, the Youth Group for the Unitarian Universalist Church will be hosting a Café downstairs inside the Church in the Fellowship Hall. The Café will be a fundraising effort for the Youth Group, so be sure to stop by for a snack and help them out!

We are down to the last three weeks and things are moving fast now! We have all our vendors and workshop spaces filled…we have even added a couple of extra workshops, so watch that page for updates soon!

We have our next planning meeting coming up on Sunday, August 23 at 2 pm. If you are free and would like to know how you can help out…come down to the Unitarian Universalist Church in Manchester and join us. And YES…we do still need plenty of help!!!

Cucina Aurora, based in New York will be attending S NH Pagan Pride for the first time this year, but brings plenty of event background. From vending to workshops, Cucina Aurora has become a favorite at events around the Southern New England area. Dawn, the Kitchen Witch of Cucina Aurora, will not only be providing a merchant space for your shopping pleasure, but will also be offering a workshop on Kitchen Witchery. A lucky raffle winner will also be going home with some select Cucina Aurora kitchen products from her additional donation to our raffle! Hey everyone!!

We are coming down to the finish line now, with only one month left before our big event! We are all busy here at NH Pagan Pride! We are very excited about the event we’ve been building for you over the past several months! The website is newly updated, so check out the tabs at the top of this page to see what kinds of things we have planned! For example, we currently have about two dozen vendors and readers, and more are confirming with us every day. If you are one of our pending vendors…get your paperwork or registration fee in now! The deadline is coming up this weekend and we can’t hold spaces further. We are publishing a program and need your confirmed information to be included! If you are a prospective vendor…contact Kali or Matooka TODAY! We have only a VERY few spaces available! *Registration now closed.*

Don’t forget to check out the line up of Workshop Presenters that Shakti has arranged for this year…it is quite an impressive and varied list! There is definitely something to spark everyone’s interest! We also have 3 wonderfully talented local musicians who will be performing for us…I hope to have their information loaded and up on the site within the next few days, so check back for that.

A new page that has been added is the “Help Wanted” page. Many people have been asking what they can do to help out…so we have put together a list of what our needs are. This is a working list and will very likely change frequently over the next weeks as we move closer to the event. With only a month to go, I plan on posting  to this blog every couple of days or so with updates, as well as information and background about what Pagan Pride is all about. I hope you’ll find your way back frequently to see what’s happening next!!

So, I’ve been busily adding new content to the site…you can check out the pages tabbed across the top of the page or listed to the right. We now have most of the site completed, hurray!

Some of what you’ll find…our current list of Vendors for 2009 and the workshop presenters we are currently featuring! So stop by those pages and check out the great happenings we are putting together for this year’s event! If you are considering whether you would like to be a Vendor or present a workshop for our event….hurry! Our deadline is fast approaching! You will find the Coordinators for those categories listed on our Contact page, or you can use the comments section of this page to reach us. There is a Guidelines page and a Vendor FAQ for more information about what the NH event entails.

We are all getting really excited about NH Pagan Pride Day! We are just under two months away and are coming down to the wire for some of our key features. This is when it starts to get a bit crazy!

If you are interested in helping us get the rest of our event pieced together, or if you’d like to spend some time “Meeting and Greeting” NH area Pagans on the event day, contact us about volunteering. We have plenty to do for any skill levels…and it’s a great way to network and make new friends! Even better, stop by the Unitarian Universalist Church in Manchester (at 669 Union Street)  this Sunday at 2 pm for our next meeting! Everyone is welcome and included! Hope to see you there!
